Andreas Engels is an IT auditor and consultant within the IT Services division of dhpg. As a senior manager, he performs certification audits according to IDW PS 880, IDW PS 951 and ISAE 3402 as well as audits according to ISA 315 (revised 2019) for national and international companies. In addition, he performs interface audits and data analyses with IDEA and TaxAudit. He has special expertise in the areas of SAP authorization audits, identity access management and software development.
After completing his training as an insurance salesman and graduating with a degree in business informatics from the University of Cologne, Andreas Engels worked as an IT auditor or auditor and consultant for various auditing companies. He also worked as a software developer and IT consultant. In 2009, he passed the CISA exam. He has been with dhpg since 2021.
