Virtual donation spectacle for the 75th anniversary

Bonn, 18 June 2024 - dhpg, one of the top 15 auditing and consulting firms in Germany, has come up with something very special to mark its 75th anniversary: Instead of an anniversary celebration for clients and partners, the company is organising a virtual fundraising spectacle. Every well-wisher can do good. This is because dhpg has pledged to donate €75 to a charitable organisation for every virtual congratulations to mark its 75th anniversary. There are eight organisations to choose from, which will receive the collected donations at the end of the anniversary year.

"We deliberately decided against a celebration for our business partners," says Marko Müller, Managing Partner of dhpg. "We think that a fundraising campaign is simply better suited to our times." Andreas Blum, also Managing Partner, adds: "We are therefore calling on our business partners to visit us virtually and make a donation in the name of dhpg with their congratulations. We will of course be delighted if many of them make use of this opportunity."

75 years owner-managed and independent

Founded in Bonn in the year the Basic Law was adopted, dhpg can now look back on a 75-year history. In addition to the headquarters in Bonn, 18 other locations have been added throughout Germany over the years. More than 900 employees now work for dhpg. Turnover climbed to €90 million last year. But one thing has remained the same and is important to the company: its owner-managed, medium-sized character.

Range of services gradually expanded

Having started out as a traditional auditing and tax consultancy firm, dhpg has gradually expanded its range of services. Today, dhpg also offers medium-sized companies and private individuals legal advice, for example in crisis situations. As one of the first medium-sized auditing and consulting firms, dhpg has established and expanded its own IT division for audit-related IT topics. Its investments also include the system house synalis and the Certified Security Operations Centre, which is operated jointly with TÜV Trust IT. Since 2021, the company has held a stake in TMC Turnaround Management Consult, a specialist in corporate restructuring.

Further plans for the future

But even after 75 years, there are further expansion plans. Some "white spots" in the nationwide coverage are to be closed and the 100 million turnover mark is to be broken in 2024. Since 2023, dhpg has been a German member partner of CLA Global, an international network of independent auditing and consulting firms. Managing Partner Andreas Blum represents dhpg on the international board and, together with his partner colleague Marko Müller and more than 900 colleagues as well as the now more than 85 (senior) partners, is actively driving forward the internationalisation of the company.
