Michael Mittmann is a tax consultant at dhpg. His main areas of practice include tax advice to medium-sized companies and freelance partnerships and their partners, as well as freelance individual practices and private individuals. He has particular expertise in special issues relating to turnover tax.
Due to his many years of professional experience in tax administration, Michael Mittmann has expertise in issues of tax procedural law and the conduct of out-of-court legal remedies. This includes, among other things, assisting his clients during external tax audits by the tax office. His main focus in advising private individuals is on income tax law and investments in the case of income from renting and leasing. In addition, he is the audit manager for statutory audits.
After graduating with a degree in finance from the University of Applied Sciences for Finance in Nordkirchen, he worked in the financial administration of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia. He was then employed by a medium-sized tax consultancy and auditing firm in Bonn. He has been working as a tax consultant since 1995 and joined dhpg one year later.
