Dr. Matthias Johnen is an auditor and tax consultant at dhpg. He specializes in auditing individual and consolidated financial statements in accordance with national and international accounting standards. He advises national and international companies and corporate groups on all tax and business management issues.

After graduating with a degree in business administration from Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf, Dr. Matthias Johnen obtained his doctorate (Dr. rer. pol.) on the subject of "Accounting and Valuation of Stock Option Programs under IFRS". In 2013, Dr. Matthias Johnen joined dhpg and has been a senior partner since 2016.
