Dr. Sven Sodemann is a lawyer at dhpg. He works in insolvency administration and advises medium-sized companies, their executive bodies, and shareholders on all matters relating to insolvency and restructuring law. He supports companies in economic crisis situations with restructuring and reorganization processes as well as with insolvency-related labor and corporate law issues. In addition, he represents creditors, debtors, insolvency administrators, and opponents of insolvency challenges in all insolvency-related matters. As a specialist lawyer for labor law, he represents clients in and out of court in individual and collective labor law, in particular in insolvency labor law. He also works as a criminal defense lawyer in labor and insolvency criminal law.
In addition, he is a lecturer in insolvency criminal law at Trier University of Applied Sciences and the author of several specialist publications.
Dr. Sven Sodemann studied law at the University of Trier. After being admitted to the bar in 2020, he worked for a prestigious commercial law firm in Luxembourg and a renowned law firm in Trier. He joined dhpg in 2026.
