Prof. Dr. Norbert Neu is an auditor and tax consultant at dhpg. His main focus is on advising medium-sized companies, in particular on issues of national and international corporate tax law. As a sought-after consultant, he assists entrepreneurs and companies with restructuring, company and share (sales) acquisitions, as well as with succession planning. He has special expertise in the taxation of employee assignments (Global Mobility Services).

In addition to his work for dhpg, he is active as a member of the Supervisory Board, as an honorary professor at the Chair of Business Taxation at Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf and as a guest lecturer at the Federal Finance Academy in Berlin. He is a member of the Fachinstitut der Steuerberater (Institute of Tax Consultants), the Institut Finanzen und Steuern (Institute of Finance and Tax), the advisory board of the Centrale für GmbH of the Verlag Dr. Otto Schmidt KG, and co-editor of the trade journal "GmbH-Rundschau". In addition, he is active in many respects as a specialist author and speaker.

Prof. Dr. Norbert Neu studied business administration at the University of Cologne after his apprenticeship as a bank clerk, where he subsequently worked as a research assistant at the chair of business administration and business taxation and received his doctorate (Dr. rer. pol.). He has been a of counsel since 2024.
