Dr. Christian Lenz is a lawyer and specialist in tax law and information technology law at dhpg. He advises medium-sized companies on commercial law. The focus of his work is on advising medium-sized companies on IT and data protection law. Clients particularly appreciate his expertise in drafting complex IT contracts. Dr. Christian Lenz is a proven expert on issues relating to the EU General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR) and has assisted many companies in implementing the requirements of the EU GDPR. In addition, he advises companies on the development of compliance management systems.
As a certified data protection officer (TÜV®), his know-how is in demand in many companies as an external data protection officer. This is an area of expertise that he accompanies as a speaker with a wide range of training courses and lectures. In addition, he supports companies in protecting their trade and business secrets in accordance with the German Act on the Protection of Trade Secrets (GeschGehG). In cooperation with computer scientists and business informatics specialists, the focus here is on setting up and testing suitable management systems (e.g. in accordance with DIN ISO / IEC 27001).
In addition to his work for dhpg, Dr. Christian Lenz is an active lecturer at Magdeburg Stendal University of Applied Sciences in the Digital Business Management course.
Dr. Christian Lenz studied law at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms University in Bonn. He joined dhpg in 2011. He has been a senior partner since 2023.
