Steffen Dettmer is an auditor and tax consultant at dhpg. His main areas of practice include advising medium-sized clients on the (group) audit of financial statements as well as on special topics in corporate tax law. In addition, he advises clients on all accounting issues.
After completing his studies in business law at the Rheinische Fachhochschule in Cologne, Steffen Dettmer worked for a Big Four firm for several years before joining dhpg in 2019. He is the author of various specialist publications and a speaker on group accounting (HGB and IFRS) and its interfaces with group tax law. He has been a senior partner since 2024.
