Oliver Lohmar is a tax consultant at dhpg. His work focuses on issues of corporate and turnover tax law and, in particular, on all issues of tax structuring and tax procedural law. He also assists his clients in asserting their interests before the tax authorities and courts. A further topic area is the taxation of cryptocurrencies.
As an author, he publishes professional essays on the above-mentioned topics and writes, among other things, the chapter "Value Added Tax" in the work "Customs Procedures" published by Reguvis Verlag.
After studying at the University of Applied Sciences for Finance of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia in Nordkirchen and at the University of Cologne, Oliver Lohmar began his professional career in the fiscal administration of North Rhine-Westphalia. His further path led him to dhpg in 2015 via a renowned law firm in Bonn. He has been a senior partner since 2024.
